Potomac Aviation, Inc. provides remarketing, technical, management, and advisory services to the aviation industry with an emphasis on the commercial regional sector.

Since inception Potomac has placed over one-hundred-fifty regional aircraft and has been awarded a number of management/technical advisory contracts with governments, financial institutions, and airlines. Technical and advisory assignments include regional jet and turboprop inspections, lease evaluations and appraisals at U.S. and international operators including Delta/Comair, SkyWest, American Eagle, Mesa Airlines, Qantas, Air New Zealand, Air Nostrum, Flybe, and Ethiopian Airlines. Other notable clients include the Canadian and UK Governments, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Castlelake (TPG).

Potomac was founded in 2005 by Michael Wayshner.   Previously a Vice President with Bombardier for 18 years, Michael managed a $4 billion portfolio of 250 aircraft, including a mixture of commercial and corporate aircraft.  He is a fluent Spanish speaker and has a wealth of experience in managing large projects involving regional aircraft. Michael is also a certified public accountant with an extensive financial background in aviation.

Potomac has experience with a variety of turboprop and regional jet aircraft including the Saab 340, Beech 1900, Embraer Brasilia and ERJ, ATR, Bombardier Dash 8 and CRJ, as well as Dornier and Fokker product lines.

Potomac is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Traders, National Business Aircraft Association, and the Regional Air Cargo Carriers Association.
